Pygmalion

I'm Pygmalion, a Koikatsu artist with way too much time on his hands. I make waifus most of the time, but I also do studio stuff as well.

Commission Info

Character Commission

-Female characters will generally cost $80 baseline, though characters that are more complex in terms of outfit and hairstyle will cost significantly more.--Male characters cost $100 baseline, because Koikatsu's creator isn't focused on them, and thus, they are more difficult to work with. Similar rules regarding complexity apply here, too, though it's important to note that a lot of clothing clips with men.--Additional outfits and hairstyles are $10 each, unless otherwise specified due to complexity.--Custom card images of your character are $5, and come with a posed bust/waist up shot with some text showing their name and any lore positions (if applicable). You get to pick the font and colors, and have input on the pose.--If you commission a male character that does not fit into the standard body type of a Koikatsu male (ie, a twink or a femboy), I will be using one of my pre-existing males as a base for the character, unless you specify a different character card to work from as a base.--For obvious reasons, I do not do characters that are minors. Additionally, anthro furries and other distinctly non-human characters are off the table due to the herculean effort that would be required to make them work.--If you do not have any reference images of your character for me to work from (as in, this will be the first time the character has been put into a visual medium), the initial determined cost of the character will be increased by half.--Commissioned cards will be publicly released unless otherwise requested.--Price will be determined in DMs and payment will be delivered via invoice in full before any work is done.-

Studio Commissions

-Dedicated close up waist/bust shots in Studio are $30 and come with the choice of no background (transparent), a white void, or a pre-existing map, which are free, or a scenebuild that will cost, at max, $10.--Full body studio shots of a singular character are $40 and come with the same background options as the waist/bust shots, but scenebuilds are $15 on average.--Scenes of two or more characters interacting in some fashion (ie, drinking together) are $50. Same background options as above, but scenebuilds are $20.--Wider scenes that depict a larger event (ie, a battle) are $125 minimum due to the effort that goes into posing the characters and building a scene of that scale, alongside lighting it.--You may have up to two additional posed characters that will be considered part of the "main group" of any given Studio commission, and will thus be given the most focus in regards to posing, lighting, etc. For the waist/bust shot, it is $5 per character. For the full body shot, it is $15 per character. For the interaction scene, it is $20 per character. For the large scenes, it is $30 per character.--If you commission a Studio shot involving an existing character (example: Belfast from Azur Lane or UMP45 from Girl's Frontline), and there is no character card available on Pixiv the Illusion cards booru, Kenzato, or Bepis, you will be charged the appropriate price as dictated above in the Character Commission section. If a card exists, but is of notably poor quality (ie, it has bulbhead or Chikaface), you will be charged a flat $20 fee for me to bring the card to an acceptable level of quality.--NSFW is $15 for the waist/bust shot, and $30 for the full body.--Scenes depicting my characters are 30% off the final price.-

Writing Commissions

While this isn't my bread and butter, I do writing commissions as well. $20 per 500 words.

Original Characters

These characters are my own creations and are featured within my own story that I've been working on since 2019.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • **Q: ** Why the name Pygmalion?

  • A: I'm half-Greek, and the story of the mythological Pygmalion falling in love with one of his sculptures felt like it fit for me, considering the inordinate amount of time I've spent with Koikatsu and its creator.

  • Q: Are your OCs public?

  • A: No, but you're free to draw them if you want. I'd prefer having things run by me in DMs first, though.

  • Q: Favorite artists?

  • A: Short list: Afrobull, Drogod, Reiq, Aldharoku, Diisuke, Kimtoxic, Jakko, Puuzaki Puuna, Aoi Nagisa, and Takeda Aranobu covers most of it.

  • Q: Favorite games?

  • A: I would hesitate to call War Thunder one of my 'favorite' games considering it makes me want to slit my fucking wrists most of the time, but it's one of my top three most played games of all time, so make of that what you will. Aside from that, Warframe is pretty fun, and Team Fortress 2 is good, but it's been ruined by script kiddies.

  • Q: What music do you listen to when working?

  • A: I have a 2000s nostalgia playlist full of good shit, though 'good shit' to me means all that cringe emo rock and metal that you absolutely enjoyed in the day, but physically pains you to think about now. Click the button below if you want to see what I mean.
